Microsoft acquired HockeyApp

Employee at Microsoft in Germany until June 2016, then moved to Redmond, WA, USA as an employee. Been the Program Manager for SDKs & Crash Reporting on HockeyApp and starting June 2016 Program Manager for Crash Reporting on Visual Studio App Center.

January 2011 - November 2014

Co-Founder of HockeyApp, a service for app developers to collect crash reports, share test versions, and communicate with the users of their apps. Based on the experience from HockeyKit & QuincyKit.

Main developer of the HockeyApp SDKs for iOS and macOS, as well as the high performance symbolication backend to provide highly accurate symbolicated Apple crash reports.

As a Freelancer working on my own WorldView apps, customer work on iOS Groceries app from Sophiestication, maintaining the HockeyKit and QuincyKit open source projects.

June 2009 - November 2010

Software Engineer at Cultured Code in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, Germany, working on the iOS and macOS versions of Things. Participating in the development of one of the first iPad apps to launch.

March 2002 - May 2009

Project Manager at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, Germany, for development tools in embedded software. Design, introduced and managed the Intranet for thousands of worldwide embedded developers and created a tool to automatically detect known platform bugs in customer projects, even if the framework was only partially used. Later worked on telemedicine solutions.

October 2001 - December 2001

Multimedia developer for children learning software at TRICKREICH mediamaniacs in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
